What it covers

The course covers accompanying organisations. Topics include the coaching stance and contracting, value stream mapping as facilitation, assessment and positioning, designing an implementation, change leadership and dealing with resistance. Two parts cover crises: stabilising before establishing causes, and working through incidents without assigning blame, including AI-induced incidents. One part covers AI governance at organisational level. The closing part is about enabling others and facilitating learning formats.

Why take this course

Training programmes predominantly cover how undertakings are set up and rarely what to do when something has already gone wrong. On top of that there is a gap around autonomous agents: 74 % of companies intend to deploy them within two years, while 21 % have a mature governance model (Deloitte).

What you can do afterwards

  • Contract a coaching engagement and decline one with reasons.
  • Facilitate a value stream mapping workshop and calculate process efficiency.
  • Run an assessment across seven guiding questions and use diverging perceptions as a finding.
  • Design a four-phase implementation plan and scope the pilot as an assumption test.
  • Build a guiding coalition and name the limits of your own role.
  • Read resistance as information.
  • Stabilise an undertaking that has gone off course and weigh the available options.
  • Facilitate a review of an incident that addresses systems rather than people.
  • Work through an AI-induced incident and analyse responsibility along the people involved.
  • Develop an AI governance model together with an organisation.
  • Facilitate a learning workshop and lead a group from symptoms to cause.

Who this course is for

Primary

Agile coaches, consultants and change agents who accompany organisations. Internal transformation leads.

Also a fit

Anyone growing into a coaching or consulting role. Experienced role holders who want to enable others. Leaders with a transformation mandate who need the coaching perspective.

Learning objectives in detail

  1. 1 Contract a coaching engagement – client, coachee, mandate and boundaries – and decline one with reasons.
  2. 2 Facilitate a value stream mapping workshop and calculate and interpret process efficiency.
  3. 3 Run an assessment across the seven guiding questions and use divergences between roles as a finding.
  4. 4 Design a four-phase implementation plan and scope the pilot as a hypothesis test.
  5. 5 Build a guiding coalition and explain to leadership why change cannot be delegated.
  6. 6 Read resistance as information and recognise prescribed values as disguised rules.
  7. 7 Stabilise a project in trouble – determine the category, apply the four levers, and if necessary recommend an orderly end.
  8. 8 Facilitate a blameless post-mortem, even when someone in the room is looking for a culprit.
  9. 9 Work through an AI-induced incident forensically, without a root cause illusion and with responsibility analysed along the people involved.
  10. 10 Develop an AI governance model with an organisation – policy, responsibilities, approved-tools list, reporting route.
  11. 11 Facilitate a learning workshop and lead a problem solving workshop from symptoms to cause.
